Can my baby breathe properly under it?

Yes. It is a net, not a sheet – air passes straight through the mesh from every side, which is why you can still see her face clearly from across the room. It is the same fabric as the mosquito nets that hang over a bed, just held up on a frame instead of a hook. The dome also holds itself well clear of her face rather than resting on it.

There is no zip. So how does she get in and out?

The front panel is a loose mesh flap. Lift it with one hand, lay her down or lift her out, and let it fall back over the base skirt under its own weight. That is deliberate. A zip on a baby net catches hair, pinches fingers, is the first part to break, and wakes the baby every time you open it at 2am.

Our guarantee

Inspect the parcel before you pay a rupee. If it arrives torn, crushed or with a bent frame, refuse the delivery and you are charged nothing. Changed your mind after opening? You have 7 days from delivery – send it back unused in its original packaging and we arrange the reverse pickup ourselves.

Shipping and delivery

Free delivery across India with no minimum order value and no COD handling fee. Orders are dispatched within one to two working days. Metro cities receive delivery in three to five working days, other cities in five to eight, and remote pin codes in seven to twelve. You get a tracking link as soon as it ships.

One mosquito inside the room is enough to end everyone's night. The baby wakes at 2am scratching, you are up rocking her back to sleep, and by morning there are five red welts on her legs and arms that she will keep picking at all week. Coils, sprays and vaporisers all put something in the air your newborn is breathing all night long.

SleepSafe is a physical barrier instead of a chemical one. It pops open in about three seconds into a dome with an ultra-fine mesh that mosquitoes cannot get through, and sits over your baby on the bed, in the cot, in the playpen or on a mat on the floor. There is no zip anywhere on it – you lift the front mesh flap to lay her down, drop it, and the weighted wide base fabric seals flat against the mattress so nothing can crawl in at the edges.

It stands about 60 cm high and extends to roughly 120 cm long, which is the whole cot for a newborn and enough room for a two-year-old to roll and sit up. Twist it and it collapses into a flat disc that goes into a nappy bag, so the same net covers naps at home, a night at your parents' place and an afternoon on the grass. Nothing to assemble, nothing to plug in, and nothing your baby is breathing in.

What Parents Are Saying

★★★★★

Third night in a row she has slept through

Before this we were up twice every night with her scratching at her legs. Not one bite since we started using it. That is the whole review. 🙏

Aarti Wagholikar, Ratnagiri

★★★★★

Opens in seconds, no poles, nothing to fix to the wall. Exactly as shown.

Tanmay Bhattacharjee, Muzaffarpur

★★★★★

I was worried about airflow. I should not have been

My main fear was her breathing under a net all night. It is a mesh, not a sheet – the fan air goes straight through it and I can see her face clearly from the other side of the room.

Nandini Bhagwat, Shivamogga

★★★★

Folding it takes a few goes to learn

Opening is instant. Folding it back into the flat disc took me three or four attempts on the first day before it clicked. Now it takes seconds. Just do not expect to get it right first try.

Kartik Bhandari, Haldwani

★★★★★

No zip is the best part

My older one had a net with a zip and the sound woke him every single time. This one I just lift at the front and put her in. She does not stir. 🌙

Reshma Varkey, Kottayam

★★★★

Needs a flat surface to seal properly

On our mattress the skirt lies flat all the way round and nothing gets in. On the uneven folding bed we use in summer there was a small gap at one corner until I tucked the edge under. Worth knowing.

Ganesh Awasthi, Gorakhpur

★★★★★

We have stopped plugging in the vaporiser completely. That was the point for us. She is not breathing that stuff in for eight hours a night anymore.

Divya Nambiar, Alappuzha

★★★★★

Light, folds tiny, goes in the nappy bag. Carried it to my mother's place for a week. ✨

Zoya Ansari, Nanded

★★★★

Good for now, my son will outgrow it

He is 22 months and tall for his age. It fits him but not with much room to spare. If your child is already close to two, measure first – this is really made for 0 to about 2.

Prashant Barve, Chandrapur

★★★★★

COD, opened the box in front of the delivery boy. Frame straight, mesh with no tears. Paid after checking. 📦

Sunita Yadav, Etawah

★★★★★

One net covers both houses

We spend half the month at my parents' place. Instead of buying a second one I fold this and carry it. It is set up in the new room in ten seconds.

Manoj Panicker, Palakkad

★★★★

Mesh is finer than I expected

From the photos I thought it would be see-through and flimsy. It is a much tighter weave in person. Only thing is the white looks slightly greyer than in the pictures.

Padmaja Varada, Karimnagar

★★★★★

Four months in, the frame still springs open

This was my worry – that after folding it repeatedly it would stay bent like a cheap umbrella. It has been packed away and reopened almost every day since April and it still pops into shape properly.

Arjun Sengupta, Silchar

★★★★★

My toddler tried to push it over on day one. It just flexes and comes back. Nothing sharp on it and nothing that comes apart in her hands.

Preeti Ahluwalia, Panipat

★★★★

Product is good, no complaints there. Delivery took eight days to reach us, a bit slower than I expected.

Vikas Rathi, Bhilwara

★★★★★

Washes clean

She brought up milk on the mesh in the second week. Hand washed it with mild soap, dried it in the shade, no mark and no smell left behind. 👌

Sneha Borkar, Latur

★★★★★

Perfect for a mattress on the floor

We sleep on the floor in summer and hanging a net was never practical. This just sits over him. Nothing to tie and nothing to hang from the ceiling.

Rajiv Mahto, Hazaribagh

★★★★

Read what is in the box

It is the net only – the mattress and the toys you see in the photos do not come with it. It does say so on the page, I just did not read it properly and expected more in the parcel.

Madhuri Salvi, Sangli

★★★★★

Power cuts here run for hours in the evening and the vaporiser was useless on those nights. This does not care.

Suresh Karthikeyan, Tirunelveli

★★★★★

Cheaper than what we were already spending

Two coil packs and a vaporiser refill every month was costing us close to ₹300. This was one payment and there is nothing to buy again.

The problem

One Mosquito Gets In. Nobody Sleeps For Three Nights.

You hear it before you see it. By the time the light is on she is already awake and scratching, and there are two red welts coming up on her cheek that she will keep picking at all week.

So you do what everyone does. A coil burning in the corner. A vaporiser plugged in beside the cot. A spray on her arms and legs before bed. All night, in a closed room, that is what your newborn is breathing.

And it still only takes the one mosquito that was already inside before you plugged anything in.

Four steps showing the SleepSafe net popping open and twisting flat

The fix

A Wall Of Mesh. Not A Cloud Of Chemicals.

SleepSafe puts a physical barrier between your baby and every mosquito in the room. Nothing burns, nothing evaporates, and nothing goes on her skin.

It sits over her on the bed, in the cot, in the playpen, or on a mat on the floor.

  • A mesh they cannot get through

Ultra-fine netting, tight enough to stop mosquitoes and the smaller insects that come with them. Air and your line of sight pass straight through it.

  • The base seals, so nothing crawls in

A wide fabric skirt runs all the way round and lies flat under its own weight. The gap at the mattress edge is exactly where thin, narrow-based nets fail.

  • No zip anywhere on it

Lift the front flap, lay her down, let it drop. Nothing to catch her hair, nothing to pinch a finger, and no zip sound to wake her at 2am.

  • Nothing for her to breathe in

No coil smoke, no vaporiser refill, no repellent on her skin. You can stop buying all three of them.

SleepSafe net dimensions – 120 cm wide, 60 cm high, suitable 0 to 24 months

Before you order

Will It Fit Your Bed?

It opens to roughly 120 cm long and 60 cm high. Take a tape to whatever your baby actually sleeps on before you order.

  • Newborn in a cot

Covers a standard baby cot or bassinet end to end, with the skirt lying flat on the mattress all the way around her.

  • Toddler up to about two

60 cm of headroom means she can sit up, roll over and play under it without her head touching the top.

  • A mattress on the floor

This is where it works best of all. Nothing to tie, nothing to hang from the ceiling, no hook to put in the wall. It just sits on top.

Where else it earns its place

It Is Not Only For Bedtime

Because it folds into a disc and weighs almost nothing, the same net covers an afternoon nap on the terrace, a weekend at your parents' house, a train journey and an hour on the grass in the park.

Older babies treat it as a tent. Put a few toys inside and it becomes the one spot in the room where nothing lands on them – no flies, no ants, no mosquitoes.

Everything else you might ask

Can my baby breathe properly under it?

Yes. It is a net, not a sheet. Air passes straight through the mesh from every side, which is why you can still see her face clearly from across the room. It is the same fabric as the mosquito nets that have hung over Indian beds for generations, just held up on its own frame instead of a ceiling hook. The dome also stands well clear of her face rather than resting on it.

There is no zip. How does the baby get in and out?

The front panel is a loose mesh flap. Lift it with one hand, lay her down or lift her out, and let it fall back over the base skirt under its own weight. That is a deliberate design choice, not a missing feature: a zip on a baby net catches hair, pinches fingers, is the first part to break, and wakes the baby every time you open it at 2am.

Can mosquitoes get in from the bottom edge?

Not when the base skirt is lying flat. The skirt is a wide band of fabric that runs the whole way round and sits down under its own weight, so there is no open gap at the mattress. Two things break that seal: an uneven or lumpy surface, and bedding bunched up under the edge. Smooth the mattress, lay the skirt flat, and tuck the edge under slightly if your surface is uneven.

Will it fit our bed, cot or floor mattress?

It opens to roughly 120 cm long and 60 cm high. That covers a standard baby cot or bassinet end to end, and on a double bed it simply sits on top over your baby’s side. It works particularly well on a mattress on the floor, where hanging a net is not practical. Measure the surface before you order if space is tight.

Up to what age can we use it?

Newborn to roughly two years. At 0 to 12 months there is a lot of room to spare. From about 18 months a taller child will still fit but with less space around them, and by two and a half most children have outgrown it. If your child is already close to two and tall for their age, measure them lying down against 120 cm first.

Is the mesh safe if she grabs it or puts it in her mouth?

Yes. The mesh and frame are non-toxic and there is no coating, chemical treatment or repellent on the fabric at all – the protection here is purely physical. There is also no zip, no metal pin, no small clip and nothing rigid that can come off in her hands.

Can she push it over or get tangled in it?

The frame flexes and springs back rather than collapsing on her, so a toddler pushing at the side just makes it bend and return. It is light and open rather than heavy or enclosing. As with anything in a cot, use it with your baby on her back on a firm flat surface, and do not drape blankets or towels over the top of the dome.

How do I fold it back down, and can I wash it?

Push the two sides of the dome in towards each other, then give it a twist and it collapses into a flat round disc. It takes a few attempts to get the knack on the first day and seconds after that. To clean it, hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild soap and dry it in the shade. Do not put it in a washing machine, do not wring the frame, and do not iron the mesh.

What exactly comes in the box?

One SleepSafe foldable mosquito net, already assembled and folded flat. The mattress, bedding, pillow and toys you can see in the photographs are there to show the net in use and are not included. There is nothing to buy separately and nothing to fit.

How do I pay, how long does delivery take, and what if I want to return it?

Cash on Delivery, on most pin codes across India – there is nothing to pay online and no card details entered anywhere. Orders are dispatched in one to two working days: three to five for metros, five to eight for other cities, seven to twelve for remote pin codes. Inspect the parcel before you pay; if the box is crushed or the net is torn, refuse the delivery and you are charged nothing. Changed your mind after opening? Seven days from delivery, unused and in its original packaging, and we arrange the pickup.
