Straight answer: this is a seat with a raised support bar, not a certified child restraint system, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What it changes is the two things that make the usual arrangement risky – a child standing unsupported on a moving footboard, and a rider steering one-armed to hold them. With this fitted your child is seated, has a fixed bar to grip, and sits inside your arms. Ride at city speeds, keep both hands on the handlebar, and put a helmet on them.

The clamps are padded where they meet the scooter, so on a normal footboard it lifts off without leaving marks. Wipe grit off the floor before you fit it – trapped sand is what scratches paint, on this or on anything else. Do not overtighten; hand-firm is enough.
The frame is rated to carry up to 30 kg, and the seat is sized for children roughly one to five years old. Build matters more than birthdays – a tall four year old and a small six year old can both be fine. Your child should be able to sit upright on their own and hold the bar.
Yes, but less of it. The seat takes the middle of the footboard and leaves you the strip in front of it. Most riders adjust within a day. What you genuinely lose is the open floor space for grocery bags while the seat is fitted – which is exactly why it folds flat in thirty seconds and drops into the under-seat storage.
The frame is powder-coated steel and the cushion has a waterproof covering, so ordinary rain and monsoon parking are fine. Wipe it dry when you get the chance, the same as you would the seat of the scooter. Do not leave it standing in a puddle for weeks and it will hold up.
No. There is no account and no password. Checkout asks for your name, delivery address, phone number and email so we can send you the tracking link – nothing else. The ‘Sign in’ link at the top of checkout is only there for people who have ordered before and want their address filled in for them. You can ignore it completely.
