It needs a smooth, hard, level floor. Vitrified tile, marble, granite, mosaic, laminate and sealed wood are all fine, and the wheels are non-marking, so they do not leave grey drag lines behind them.
What it will not do: thick carpet, bare rough cement, chipped or badly uneven flooring, and loose rugs. On those the wheels catch and the furniture stops moving. Roll the rug back first and it works normally.

Can one person really move a sofa with this?
Yes, on a smooth level floor and within the 150 kg rating. You are not lifting the furniture at any point after the pads are under it – you are pushing a weight that is sitting on wheels, which takes a fraction of the effort.
The one part that needs a little force is pressing the bar down to lift each corner, and that is leverage rather than strength. Most people manage it on the second try.
Will it scratch or mark my floor?
The wheels are non-marking, so on vitrified tile, marble, granite, laminate and sealed wood they roll without leaving grey lines. That is the whole reason this set exists – dragging furniture is what wrecks a floor.
Sweep the path first. A stray grain of grit under a wheel can scratch any floor, whatever you are rolling over it.
How much weight will it take?

No, and this is the most common reason people are disappointed by a mover set, so we would rather say it plainly. Thick carpet, loose rugs, bare rough cement, chipped tile and badly uneven floors all stop the wheels.
If the room has a rug, roll it back first and it works normally on the floor underneath.
My furniture has thin legs. Will the pads hold it?
Yes. Each pad is a wide flat platform with a non-slip top, so a narrow leg sits in the middle of it and stays there while you push. Keep the leg roughly centred rather than on the edge.
What it cannot handle is furniture with nothing to lift at all – wall-fixed units, built-in wardrobes or anything bolted down, where the bar has no edge to go under.
Will the lifter bar damage the bottom of my furniture?
On solid wood, ply, metal and moulded plastic bases it lifts without leaving a mark. On thin veneer or a soft particle-board edge, fold a cloth over the bar tip the first time until you know how much pressure you actually need. It is very little.
Do I need to create an account to order?

How long does delivery take?
