Choose a lid slightly smaller than the container. Hold one edge on the rim, stretch the lid across and pull it down over the other side. Press the centre lightly so it sits flat. To remove, lift one of the tabs. When reheating in the microwave, lift one edge so steam can escape.

Do not use it in an oven, on a gas flame, on a tawa or over a hot pan straight off the stove. Avoid containers with sharp or chipped rims – they can tear the silicone. It holds a tight seal on the rim for fridge storage, but it is not meant for carrying liquids upside down in a bag.

It keeps food covered in the fridge and saves you from cling film. It is not an oven lid and not a travel lid for liquids.
Keep it away from: ovens, gas flames, hot tawas and sharp or chipped rims.
Turmeric note: like any silicone, it can pick up a yellow tint from haldi-heavy curries. It still works exactly the same.

Will it fit my containers?
It fits containers with a firm, smooth rim – round, square or oval. The six sizes run from small to large, so pick one a little smaller than the rim and stretch it over. Very large vessels like a big pressure cooker or patila will be bigger than the largest lid.
Can I use it in the microwave?
Yes, for reheating. Lift one edge before you start so steam can escape. Do not use it in an oven, on a gas flame or over a pan straight off the stove.
Is it leak-proof?
It seals the rim well enough for storing dal, curd or sabzi in the fridge. We do not call it leak-proof – do not carry liquids upside down in a bag with it.
How do I clean it?
Wash with dish soap and water, rinse and air-dry. Avoid steel scrubbers and knives near it so it does not get cut.
Will it smell or stain?
Food-grade silicone does not hold smells the way plastic does, but haldi can leave a light yellow tint. It does not affect how it works.
